Who We Are.... Tractors for Charity was organized through the partnership of the City of McHenry, local businessmen, family, friends and collectors all over northern Illinois and Wisconsin, to promote the Antique Tractor, Truck and Construction Equipment hobby, while at the same time, giving back to the local community by providing a show that raises funds for local charities. The first two shows featured antique tractors, trucks and equipment and show cased pieces of equipment that provided for our rich agricultural history and the modern industrialization that we enjoy today. The shows raised over $24,000 and the proceeds were donated to the charity organization “FISH” of McHenry. (FISH provides needy families in the McHenry area with food, necessities and support). The next show is scheduled for October 4th and 5th 2008 form 9am to 5pm. The show, for all ages, will be held at Petersen Farm on McCullom Lake Road in McHenry, Illinois. This show will feature all the activities of the previous shows and will again sponsor “FISH” of McHenry in an attempt to meet or beat last year’s contribution.
